How far in advance do I need to book?
Bookings can be placed as far in advance as possible. The sooner we know, the more likely you can secure the date and time you prefer. Our picnix need to be placed at least 3 weeks in advance.
Should there be a situation where you are not able to book in advance, we do have a couple options for you. We allow for booking based on availability and a $30 Rush Booking Fee will automatically be added to the price. Due to limited timing, we will only be able to provide limited decor that we already have in stock. Custom decor or custom flower arrangements will NOT be available.
Where should we do our picnix?
We can set up you picnix indoors or outdoors. Most of our set ups are done outdoors. Your picnix can be at a park, beach, backyard, and more. Should you prefer indoors, we can do a set up in your home. A list of some of the locations we have set up at are at the top of the page.
If there is a location that you are thinking of, let us know in your booking details. We are willing to look into a location that we haven't set up at and will notify you if it is a viable option or not.
What food should we bring?
All of our picnix come with a complimentary dessert and drinks (water and/or juice). Each month has a different included dessert. Our Show Stopper package includes a fruit platter for you to enjoy. Otherwise, we do not provide food at our picnix.
You may bring food to any of our picnix. We suggest your favorite snacks such as chips, small sandwiches, and fruit. Depending on your appetite, we also suggest a small meal if you'd like. We offer to pick up food from a restaurant that allows pick up for $5 within 5 miles and $10 within 10 miles.
What is the typical time frame for planning?
Once you request a booking, we will reach out to you within 48 hours during the week or 72 hours when placed during the weekend. This first contact will be to clarify requests and determine confirmation. Once confirmed, an invoice will be sent within 24 hours. Your date and time will be locked in once your 25% deposit is secured. Between that time and the picnix date, we will reach out if there are any questions remaining to make your picnix experience on to remember. If you should have any questions or changes they will need to be asked during this time. Two weeks from the date, you will receive a reminder to pay at least 50% of the total price if you have not already done so. One week prior to the date, you will receive a reminder to pay the balance in full. A confirmation email will be sent out 48 hours before the picnix and a reminder 24 hours before. Within an hour of your picnix start time, you will receive a text with the location of the picnix.
What add-ons are available?
Each picnix package comes with different available add-ons for purchase. Each package builds on the lasts from Classix to Elegant to Show Stopper respectively. Our add-ons include adding more guests, time, and real flowers to packages that come with faux flowers. You can also add a food pick up if you want more than just a dessert and snacks. Your experience can be upgraded with structures such as a table, a backdrop or even a teepee. More photo film is available and dessert and game options.
